As hard as I try to clear out my closet twice a year, it pretty much happens every other year. The sorting process is two fold, donate or sell on ebay? A few years ago, I did a major clean-out and among the items were a red short wool belted trench jacket and a wool houndstooth mini-skirt. Of all the items I've ever sold and donated, those two are
probably the two items I shouldn't have ever unloaded. So you're wondering why on earth did I get rid of those two things? I operated under the rule..."If you haven't worn it in a year it's time to let it go." I agree with that rule for the most part but with classics...maybe you just shouldn't get rid of it...EVER... What are your thoughts on the 1 year rule?
