Earlier this month, we debated if the colour red is a neutral? The response from you was a toss up, 50% agreed that red is a neutral, and the other 50% said no. The reason why I have a hang-up with believing that red is a neutral is because when I think of the popular pairings, it always leads back to a holiday. Red and green (Christmas), red and white/pink (Valentine's day), red and blue (Independence day). Maybe I have to try pairing red with patterns rather than solid colours? I'll start with leopard...now that's a neutral!
Red and leopard? So fashionable;)
ReplyDeletei guess leopard is more neutral than red... either way, you look adorable! :) happy monday!
ReplyDeleteLove that top, gorgeous look

Red and leopard is definitely a winning combo. I am kind of on the fence about red being a neutral. Although I do like paired with turqouise and also purple without looking like a holiday, ha ha! Heather
ReplyDeleteYes I have to agree, red really is a neutral! Those pants of yours look familiar, love how you've paired it with those wedges.

Red and leopard/animal print always works. I love your jacket and your edgy shoes. Have a great week :)
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit. For some reason I really like the "rocker" look on you, you just look amazing and the animal print too. I couldn't pull off such a look ^^ I really liked the red detail, just fantastic. xx
ReplyDeleteNot sure if I would completely agree with the "neutral" part, but it certainly adds a beautiful touch to this outfit. x
ReplyDeleteYou sure know how to rock animal print! I love the edgy look of this outfit. I think adding the red belt was a very good choice :)

Love your print animal blouse! Bessie You look fabolous
ReplyDelete"What I need is a red belt"
ReplyDeleteThat's the punch line to an old joke. I forget what I said before, but I have to go with you--that red isn't neutral. If I was buying a house and asked the seller to paint the walls a neutral color, I'd be seeing red if he chose red. :)
The red belt looks great with leopard...but I surely don't think of it as a neutral. While it can be paired with so many colors and patterns, I always use it to add a not so neutral pop of color.

ReplyDeleteLove the leopard print top and shoes! I used to think red was more of a neutral than animal print, but I think lately I've been so obsessed with the latest that I don't mind considering it a neutral too!
