I hope I haven't exhausted the novelty of white and black outfits!  It happens to be my favorite combination, and therefore, my closet has an over-abundance of such colours (or lackthereof).  Is it just me or have you noticed since the coloured jeans trends, denim has taken an on an evolution of its own?  Floral, metallic, waxed, ombre, studded, now printed?  I was on the hunt for waxed denim and snatched these up at Zara during their sale, $29!  This season, will you be adding a pair of novelty jeans to your closet, or do you just prefer to keep them blue and classic?

  3. Since all these novelties will inevitably go out of style I prefer to buy classic blue jeans from labels like J Brand and Current/Elliott. I might consider waxed denim (it's closest to the classic look but with a twist) from a discount retailer just to take them for a spin without obligations of a pricier pair. I really wish your jeans were still available. I love how they look and fit on you.

    P.S - love the top. Again, it looks nothing like Forever 21.

  6. I thought it's only me but I also have a lot of B&W combos in my closet...haha! The red pants is my best concession to the colored trend! Anyways, I love this rocker vibe on you Bess, the studded accessories are the perfect topping to the outfit!!

    Now that you mention it, I see that Kelly Framel does bear a slight resemblance to Keira Knightley.

  9. I love the cut of that blouse! I probably won't venture into waxed jeans territory, since I'm not much of a jeans girl, period. I think I have two pairs of blue jeans and that's it! Your look great, and I do like the waxed denim trend that is popular right now :)

  20. Love this minimalistic look of yours, the cut of the top is very nice ! and I love your bag. I have purple,white,green and beige denims but now I will add a brown/tan, black and grey denim in my wardrobe and you won't believe it but I don't have a black denim yet ! Black denims are so versatile , yet I don't have them, have to buy it asap.

I just bought a pair of mottled gold/brown jeans and I do have floral jeans and black waxed jeans. I do like classic blue jeans, but sometimes ya just gotta step out that zone, right?
