Who was able to get their hands on this leather peplum top from H&M? I saw it in atleast 3 September magazine issues, after I bought it in mid August! As we all know, not all H&M locations carry the same merchandise, quantities differ, and online shopping is not yet available in the US. I spotted this top on a Wednesday evening after work, and they must have just put it on the rack because all sizes were available. The price was $99! I hesitated at the price, and thought how much use will I get out of this top? Will oxblood pieces look "dated," by next Fall? That same week, I received a 20% off coupon so I went back on Saturday, and this was the last one, which just happened to be in my size, along with the denim shirt, and the patterned pants....
What do you know? That shopping trip resulted in 2 outfits!

Oh, what a score! Love that peplum top!
ReplyDeleteHard to say..both looks are fantastic...but the casual mom on the go side of me says - I prefer it with the chambray...maybe it's because I finally popped that baby out 2 weeks ago...but am definitely not back to a peplum worthy waistline.
Hope you are well.

GOR-GE-OUS!!! You're really an expert in finding great deals in the shops Bessie!!

I LOVE the patterned pants! They look so different with each top. I am a sucker for a denim top, so I will say that's my favorite look. Heather
ReplyDeleteLeather! Though the denim is cute, too. I LOVE that top and can't believe I missed it at H&M this past month. It is gorgeous and right on trend. I really need to get on my fall shopping. I ordered the pair of boots featured on my blog today, but that's really it in terms of my fall purchases thus far.
ReplyDeleteExcellent finds. How well you look;-)
ReplyDeleteI love pemplum t-shirts! great look! kisses! ^^

I really love that top. I've been on the hunt for the perfect peplum top for fall.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe I got the same pair of pants from H&M last week! The leather peplum top is a winner! I did not spot it in store though! Love the pants with both the denim shirt and the peplum top, but my fav is the peplum top of course!

That peplum top is gorgeous! I love that color on you. You're such a great shopper that you always manage to score those coveted pieces that sell out in a heartbeat. I tried on those H&M pants and can you believe they were like way short on me.

ReplyDeletethat's one sexy outfit :) love the peplum leather top!
ReplyDeleteBoth outfits are great....but I like the denim better (casual/comfy is more my style). Those printed pants are amazing by the way... I should check them out at H&M.

I am so loving burgundy this Fall and I love the pants from The Limited that you recommended as well. They are so nice, but I have no idea how their sizes run anymore since I haven't stepped foot in one in like 10 years or so. Hmm... there may be one in the new mall I will be moving nearby, so I am definitely going to try them on. Have a great day Bessie! xo Pip

patterned jeans so perfect! With peplum top go perfect, and with that jeans shirt also. I prefer maybe that first one! Perfect, color and everything! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, you know I have been obsessed over this oxblood leather peplum top, and now you are just rubbing it in with this look! Head to toe fabulous! I have been debating a similar pair of patterned pants too. Love the touch of emerald (another fab fall fave) with the clutch!
ReplyDeletehttp://cstyledesign.blogspot.com
I love the 2 different ways you wore the pants! The pants are a statement piece alone & you did such a great job! That peplum top is AMAZING!!! I love it!!

Both looks are great, but I especially love the casual vibe the denim creates!
ReplyDeleteThe pants work best with the leather top (in my opinion). Perfect look including shoes and clutch. xo

it feels like heaven when you buy something and that turns out to be the next big trend...i love the oxblood peplum...and the printed pants..
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, top to bottom! I considered the peplum H&M top for a split second- I think it would also work with a long sleeve blouse beneath (hope you try it out that way here on Bravoe so I can see if I'm right!)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the peplum on you!! I especially love with the pants and I think it's a bit more oomph than with the denim.
ReplyDeleteThe peplum is so flattering and wonderful fall color!
ReplyDeletewith leather definitely! at least in my opinion. such a strong and bold look!
ReplyDeleteyou shold try to combine the top with a pair of skinny jeans sometimes.. would be so exciting to see!
Maiken,
Maikeni blogi - part of me
Love the new pattern pants! And really, did they have to call this color oxblood? Couldn't we say bordeaux or chianti?
ReplyDeleteboth look great but i'd say denim (only b/c i'm more partial to denim).
ReplyDeleteMaggie
lovestylehappiness.blogspot.com
I like it with the leather ;)
ReplyDeletekatattack2000.wordpress.com
I definitely did not see that top at H&M, I love it! You styled it to perfection!
ReplyDeleteSeems that you have the best H&M in the country because you always come back with gold. That color will never go out of style so don't worry yourself for even a minute about this purchase - it's all sorts of right from the color to the fit and style. My new Celine (arriving Friday-ish :) kind of put me out of business (mentally at least - huge sticker shock) so I'm busy with everything except shopping. I'll get back to it around the holidays but I do hope to add one special burgundy piece before that. Seriously Bessie - this is a great buy.
ReplyDeleteI like how the forest green clutch contrasts with the deep dark red, great outfit, looks comfortable too, maybe except the shoes LOL ^^ xx
ReplyDeleteLOVE the oxblood trend. I'm in desperate need! Adore this peplum top on you!

ReplyDeleteI like both tops. I know, I'm no help. :)
ReplyDeleteAs you might know, I'm a terrible clothes shopper. I buy what I need when I need it...that allows no time for coupons or price stalking.
Do you know when H&M going to have online shopping? I've been waitingggggg.

ReplyDeleteAhh that peplum top! I love it! And I need to find one :(
ReplyDelete-http://carrymel.blogspot.com
It has to be the leather peplum top with the pants. A fabulous look. Initially I couldnt decide if the colours suited you as this colour is not something that I have seen you in before, but I love it! And you look as usual ...great. Well done for being in the right place at the right time. A wardrobe assest I am thinking on both counts!
DeleteThat leather peplum top is absolutely gorgeous! I love that color on you. It's a shame I can't rock that shade, doesn't go with my skintone :P It looks so gorgeous on you! xoxo ♥
ReplyDeleteThose pants are a definite favorite for the fall
ReplyDeleteI really love those pants and that cool bag!

Love the look most especially the color. A time now for rich darker shades..

hey your blog design is very nice, clean and fresh and with updated content, make people feel peace and I always like browsing your site.
ReplyDeleteGood thing you got the peplum top, it's gorgeous! I'm sure you can still rock it by next fall. As for the patterned pants, I think it goes perfectly with both leather and denim. With the leather it's edgy and with the denim it's laidback. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for stopping by my blog. Of course, I would love it if we both follow each other!
Lots of love, B
