Right before Labor Day weekend, I caught a lousy cold and ended up staying in the whole weekend to recover!  By Monday, I couldn't stand being at home for another day, and decided to walk over to Marshall's in hopes of buying some new shoes for Fall.  There were a lot of great shoes, but if I liked the style, my size was unavailable.  I walked around the store knowing I'd come across something that had my name on it.  I scanned the sweaters, skirts, dresses, a lot of great items, but nothing I HAD to have.  Then, I went to check out the handbags...and there it was.  A Chloe Marcie Bag locked to a carousel, and my jaw nearly hit the floor.  I took a picture, tweeted all of you, then took a picture of me with the bag and put it on Facebook.  Was it too big?  Did I really need it?  The answer was a unanimous "NO it is not too big," and "YES Bessie you MUST get it, or else I will."

  83. Bessie, you look so chic with your new hair and fancy bag. I'm so glad the Marcie happened because it's a timeless, always in fashion piece that you'll keep for ever and ever. My Marshall's gets really fancy things too (a Celine cabas tote for only $800 - I would have bought it but I didn't like the look one bit. It's basically a black trash bag made of leather) but I don't ever think I saw a Chloe there before. I'm on a shopping diet until later in the season because I have nothing that I need pronto (except maybe a wallet) so I'm staying away from the whole Marshall's business for a while. I really like the jean skirt with white and gold; a totally thievery-worthy ensemble >:)
