It's no secret that I've purchased a good 40% of my new Fall wardrobe from H&M!  They've revamped their designs, and they're channeling the designs from premier designers like you wouldn't believe!  I do have a dilemma.  I really love these pants, but they're only 1/2 lined up to the knees.  The price is unbelievable, $49.95, but they are a blend consisting primarily of wool, so below the knees?  It's slightly itchy, should I keep them and kindly ask my mom to add in the rest of the lining, or return them?  They're a dead ringer for these bank hitting pants by Stella McCartney...check it out here, can you tell the difference?

  8. Ehh.. I can't spend a penny at H&M anymore. Ever since I discovered affordable Valentino on eBay I'm very apprehensive of spending money anywhere but the closeout rack. Half-lined is just a half assed job - I'd take offense and not buy at all. Though the pattern and color are gorgeous, I say return based on the incomplete lining. I do love the peplum top though. It's pricey but it looks well made and it fits you well.

    P.S - run to eBay seller BHFO (they recently changed their name from bhexpress); I just bought $40 Marc by MJ trousers, shipping included and tags still attached!

Love that top, and love how you've styled it all...Great jewellery...In our country H&M opened last year for the first time, so everyone is wearing everything from H&M, which basicaly means that all Croatia is walking around dressed up in same way. Unfortunatelly. I adore H&M, and I am so very sorry that it came here because I cannot buy there any more, except for underware and some basics1 When that H&M insanity stops a little bit, than I will buy more clothes there again...Ilina

  35. My first thought in scrolling through the pictures was don't change a thing. But if the pants are itchy, something has to change. I'm guessing fully lined wool would not be too hot for Chicago, so as others have said, if you really like them...

At first, I was going to say return them---that adding lining would be a pain but then I followed your link and they are so close to the Stella pants that maybe you should look away when you ask your mom to add lining!!   54. Well, I love, love, love that top!!! I've been seeing that look everywhere lately, and it fits you perfectly. However. Those pants. Hmmm....while I can't really tell the difference from Stella McCartney's design, after hearing about the lining, I just don't think they're worth it. I've seen a lot of straight leg pants with similar designs in Express and VS for a pretty good deal. This is one time I'm going to have to say, return them. This is a very popular at the moment, so I'm confident that you'll find a similar look minus the hassle.

  71. I just love that peplum top. it's perfect and especially when combined with the classy belt. oh and all those metallic accessories are fierce!
    when it comes to those pants you have to be sure if those are the perfect ones or not.. I think they're nice to watch but not too practical. that's just my opinion of course.
