I first spotted this blazer at Zara back in April! A few weeks later, I decided to go back and try it on again... You can only imagine my intentions? "Snow White" would accompany me to the register! Sadly this blazer had "flown" off the shelves, or so I thought... Fast forward to Zara's semi-annual sale, which started earlier this month, and when I went in, I came across this blazer in ALL sizes, at both Chicago locations...marked down! I mentioned it to the Sales Associate and apparently, if certain pieces don't move fast enough, Zara will reserve those items in back for semi-annual sale! Seriously....their inventory management may be tricky but sometimes the wait just may be worth it!

Funny but just yesterday I was telling myself that when we go to Spain this year, I plan on getting a blazer from Zara. This one is so sharp (and I really like the top as well)

ReplyDeleteToo funny, the exact same thing happened to me with their floral print TRF bomber jacket. I called every single store to find it and they told me it was sold out everyone. Two months later, the store had like 20 of them in my size during the sale. Oh well, in the end, we are the ones who benefit because we get exactly what we want, but on sale! This outfit is so super chic, and I LOVE your purse!

And yes I do agree with you 100% about the "tricky inventory management" at Zara. Sometimes it is downright maddening! The lack of connectivity between their inventory and each store and the web (kudos to Nordie for that) is just frustrating when you find an item you love but cannot locate! Here's hoping they'll improve soon!
