Opening Ceremony

Do you see flames or medals?
Opening ceremony in Bessie style!
Homage to our host country, UK!  
I already know what kind of medal I'd like to win!
Bows, A Wedge Heel, and Bling...We're golden!
On to the events!
READY, SET....GO!
100 Meter Dash!
Let me catch my breath....
WHOA...Don't look down!
Balance Beam!
Tee: Gap (If I didn't have this shirt, I'd get THIS!)
Jeans: 7 For all Mankind
Union Jack Bracelet: Ebay (Last seen here)
Shoes: Delicious Shoes via Marshall's (This is a bona fide brand, see it here)
Sunnies: Marc by Marc Jacobs (Get it here)

I can hardly contain my excitement for the XXX Olympic Games in London!  As you can guess, my favorite events to watch are track and field, and gymnastics.  I also enjoy diving, but I couldn't really simulate that in photos without getting into a pool!  Cheers to all the competing athletes who have made it this far in their career!  Their family, friends, and coaches must be so proud of them!

    love your casual outfit! the sequins on the shoulders adds a little fun, and kind of reminds me of michael jackson! this is an effortlessly chic outfit, and love those red espadrilles! you look adorable and stylish!

  10. I remember watching the Olympics with my dad on TV when I was young. I particularly liked the races, 100 m, 4X100m , etc. and the gymnastics and diving and swimming.
    I loved the way you paid homage to the host country with your outfit! Love your ingenious ideas!
    You are looking cute in all the poses.
    And I have to tell you that I love your shoes, particularly the red designs on the front attracted me, I will buy a shoe like this without thinking twice if I get one!

That shirt is ADORABLE...Love things with that little bit of glam..that can be worn daytime or into the evening....your excitement for the games is slightly contagious lady...I am probably a little more excited for my "bundle" set to arrive in less than 4 weeks (yikes)- but the games are exciting too, I suppose, lol.

  39. I'm awed by the jumping (because I can't) and the amazing things the gymnasts can do, but I enjoy it all.

    Definitely a gold medal (though gold and bronze sometimes look the same to me from a distance). Summer is agreeing with you B.

  84. Well that's one thing we have in common: I LOVE track and gymnastics. I used to run track but was kicked out of competing nationally because I was too short and I used to do gymnastics but the coaches said I was too tall! Go figure!
    Your representation gave me a giggle! Nice to remember to have some fun!
