Would you believe it if I told you that the original price of this dress was $24.80?  After buying this dress, I had money left over to ride the bus home!  Not that I would need it since I live a block from a tri-level Forever 21 store on Michigan Avenue!  Perhaps the hat carries a level of glamour, and the vintage crocodile hard-frame handbag exudes a lady-like vibe?  Maybe the floral garden and the golden glass doors transform this penny-esque dress?  Perhaps it is the sum of the elements that exceed the individual elements of this look?  Never under nor overestimate solely by the price of what you pay for any garment or accessory!

  9. Total love that F21 dress. I love the button details at the waist! The hat does give it a level of sophistication. I get a vintage Paris feel from it. So demure. Keeping it current with purple nails tho :). Love the 4th photo taken from above with the flowers. Very nice blur of the flowers but great pops of color to compliment your lovely face :).

I actually spotted a similar one with lime green stripes in a F21 store in Chicago sub-urbs, I think it was Gurnee Mills) and loved it to death, but they had it only in a large!! You look gorgeous in this striped black and white dress and loving the floppy hat- no better way to beat the heat in style, than this! BTW, we both are wearing purple nails today!

    The outfit is tres chic with the hat and the slingbacks! That's one thing I always envied about brunettes: the ability to gracefully carry off such great color combos!
    So, you live one block from F21? WOW! Talk about willpower! I would find an excuse to pass by there like everyday!.. and who loves you baby? to Gift you such an amazing cuff!!! Way FAB! I have an inspired copy cuz I didn't see spending that kinda loot on something I might not wear so much (just recently got into wearing cuffs) but I really like it so I think I might go for the real thing!   55. Accessories do make this look. Great score. Please let me know if this dress hold up after wash. F21 clothing is hit or miss for me. I once washed a T shirt and it came out too small for my daughter.

  76. Lovely outfit B! This hat is so chic! The doors did not transform the dress, you did! The hat looks so glamourous with the dress. The only thing I would change for my personal style is to throw a twilly scarf onto the hat to bring some color into the outfit but you look superb as usual!!
