Yellow Brick Road

This is going to be a casual week, especially since Memorial Day is coming up!  Who am I kidding?  Honestly, I only have fun casual outfit photos left until this weekend when I photograph for June!  So what do you think of when you hear the phrase Yellow Brick Road?  A road that leads to a new beginning, something better, perhaps even something different!  So...do you notice anything different?  Hint hint.....it's an apparatus worn to protect the eyes from harmful UV rays....  If you guessed sunglasses, you are right!  I had been searching for months for a pair of rimless, not too big aviators, for a reasonable price!  Now, on to my yellow brick road discovery for more summer finds!

  14. Ohh so it is shorts I love the top you paired with this it matches very well. When hearing yellow brick road it instantly reminds me of the wizard of oz I love that movie! I like your aviators too they are just the right size. I always have a hard time finding sunglasses (since I'm blind and they have to be perscription lol) they eye places just don't offer enough sun glass frames.

  72. Yellow Brick Road - When I hear that I think of my high school. The inside of the school is tiled with orange yellowish blocks. It was funny because one day 2 other friends of mine hooked arms with me, and we went skipping down the hall way. We also chimed "We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz."

    It is a fond memory.

    Great outfit! I love yellow but oddly I do not have anything yellow in my closet.
