Has your office dress code remained the same or converted since you started?
Love that necklace dear!!! The whole outfit it's perfect!
ReplyDeletexoxo
You know B, for some, jeans ARE the fantasy dress code! Really like this outfit and especially the handbag. Hope you are having a fab Monday.
ReplyDeleteThis look would be perfect for my office, which is business casual only if we don't have a meeting with clients or a court appearance (otherwise a full suit is required). That handbag is gorgeous - perfectly sized and structured. I love it! Congrats on 5 years at your company - my 5 year anniversary at my law firm was in March :)
ReplyDeleteLove that blazer on you, and the pops of color in this outfit are so fun!

I'm very much a retail rat so I've never actually had the chance to wear things like this but I would so love to. The last company I worked for only allowed us to wear black, white, or grey... hence my aversion to colors I think after 2.5 yrs it will grow on you ;)
ReplyDeleteI bet you're the best dressed in the office! I can tell you have thought carefully about each piece used when styling this look! I don't have an office job so I often wear crazy colour combinations! I do get a few glances on the train! xxxx
ReplyDeleteLove the subtle bursts of color that you implemented into this look. My office dress code is pretty casual since I often work from home, but I do enjoy dressing up and turning heads once in awhile! This look is definitely a head-turner!

great idea for a business casual..and quite awesome

Loving the slim, straight silhouette of your white pants! Makes me want to go to Express right now lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the white pants with the printed blouse and the touch of rouge at your feet! Do you know that I'm crazy in love with those Loubis??? ;-)

You look amazing. I adore your necklace and that top is amazing. I am an attorney and work in a small law office. Our dress code (except for when we have things scheduled such as court or a mediation) is fairly casual. When I first started working here I was coming to work dressed very professional everyday and was actually told that I could take it down a few notches because clients feel more comfortable when they just come in to meet with you if you are not in a suit every time.
ReplyDeleteSunny Days and Starry Nights
Gorgeous, love the pops of colour :) Thankfully being at home with my daughter gives me freedom to dress as I like, though I have to be aware of the sticky happy hands that come my way ;) Have a great week :) xx
ReplyDeleteI love the white pants with the tailored blazer! Your shoes are also gorgeous:)
ReplyDelete~Anne
Now that I am primarily working from home, I miss playing dress-up everyday and wearing all my gorgeous blazers. Of course if I was dressing up everyday, I would feel the opposite...you know, grass is greener blah, blah, blah...haha! PS> I want your shoes!

Love the pop of color with the shoes. This outfit looks SO much like the one I wear every day. I'm a big fan of neutrals with a color burst somewhere in the outfit.

I love the pops of color in your shoes and necklace against the neutral clothes! You have so much professional attire that I'm so surprised that you wear jeans to work! My office is also super casual and I'm often in jeans :)

Your necklace is gorgeous! My office is casual, but I always mix it up... some days I show up in jeans, other days I show up in a dress. My coworkers have just come to expect the unexpected! :)

ReplyDeleteI wish I could wear jeans everyday to the office. No such luck here :)
Bessie this look is perfection...love everything about it! And Congrats on your 5th anniversary at your company.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday Hun xoxo

Love your outfit, especially your necklace. GORGEOUS! Looks like the one (but in blue) for J. Crew.
ReplyDeleteI love the $10 H&M blouse with this whole look! And I think we talked about this before....but I tried on those red Loub's at Neimans a few years ago. Didn't end up buying them...bought the blue Rolandos that were ultimately too small (and sold them on eBay last year!), haha. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThings have changed here. It used to be jackets and ties at every meeting. But in the summer some of out meeting rooms get warm, so I started taking off my jackt as soon as I arrived for meetings. I got looked at funny. But soon other sufferers started doing the same thing and soon we were going to meetings with no jackets. I'm now trying to lead the way to no ties. But most of our senior leaders are retired military, so I doubt I'll succeed for quite some time. But who are we trying to impress when it's just an internal meeting???
ReplyDeleteAnyway, have you been asked to appear in ads? I'll be surprised if not, you've got the look.
This is seriously my favorite outfit of yours so far! I love the sophisticated suiting with white pants and POPS of color EVERYWHERE!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy office attire is boring and I need to change it up a little. You always look fab this is a great post and great outfit. xx

ReplyDeleteI really love the necklace! I want!!
ReplyDeleteWork it girl because you look fierce! Love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in this outfit!! I'm sorry to hear its too dressy for work, because you look stunning in it. I especially love your necklace and bright shoes.
ReplyDeleteThe dress code at my office is business casual, but I have the liberty to dress anyway I want to be honest since its a family business. I usually try to dress modest and professional, but still very colorful and fun.

Love the necklace! I really like the red shoes and how they make this look pop!
ReplyDeleteHoly shoes. Nice.
ReplyDeleteMy office dress code will never change- it's always gonna be business casual. I'm okay with it. I love blazers.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, super!!!!

Great photos Bessie. So stylish as usual.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think we do have the same mom lol!!! I hope I'm just like her when (if) I grow up! I love this outfit--the shirt is perfect and that necklace is amazing! Love the colors and those shoes!! WOW! And of course, I love the Pippa bag!
ReplyDeleteyou look so lovely! love everything about this look! :)
ReplyDeleteLove that blouse!
ReplyDeleteyou look wonderful, I think that's an excellent outfit to go to work! I'm still a student so I don't have to worry with that for now :)
ReplyDeleteI'm new to your blog and I love how you use one word captions to convey a whole sentence! :)

My office dress code reminds the same. It's me who has change. I have became more dressy. I used to wear ill fitted pant to work and now I wear mostly skirt s or dressy to work. You always looks fabulous.
ReplyDeletewoww such a professional chic! :)
ReplyDeletexx,
http://lalainlaland.blogspot.com
I love this outfit for a professional and polished look! Since I started working from home last year, I've also missed wearing some of my business casual outfits.
ReplyDeleteMy dress code remains the same- pajamas. Sigh. Someday (soon, hopefully!) you and I will both be dressing for the fantasy office :)
ReplyDeleteI've been sort of trying to force my dress code into business casual. I got tired of being able to pass off my slippers as work shoes so now I'm always the best dressed in the office. I don't have anywhere else to go that would require me wearing heels so I always end up wearing them to work. It's fun! And I think my coworkers enjoy the fashion show ;o)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on working 5 years with the same company! That's great! You look beautiful, as always! Love your jewelry!

Gorgeous as always... Neutrals are my all time favorite, and that purse is fab. I would be really frustrated if I couldn't wear all the amazing outfits you put together on Bravoe Runway to work.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.

I love this office attire :) I too have been with my company for 5 years :) I think at the start it was more business but it has toned down a bit - though not to jeans *thats only on Fridays*
ReplyDeletekatattack2000.wordpress.com
Congratulations on achieving the milestone of working with your company for five years Bessie, it really is quite an achievement and the outfit definitely does suit the office, you must really stand out wearing awesome outfits like these to work!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore the neutral outfit with pops of color. Probably one of my fave things to do this Spring! You look gorgeous in these photos and this is such a chic outfit. I've grown a love for office attire done correctly... just like this! I don't work in an office anymore but I like to bring the sophistication to everyday life a little bit once in a while.

Ahhh Bessie, I love this! What I especially like is that it's a neutral outfit, yet your shoes, ring, nails, and lips all POP! Great look! My company dress code went from business casual to casual. We wear jeans everyday. Which is fun, but it gets old. I'm always trying to find new ways to wear them, and REFUSE to wear sneakers! Congrats on 5 years!

ReplyDeleteHappy 5 years at your job.
ReplyDeleteYour necklace - gorgeous! And from F21? Score!!!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit, love that bag!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! We still have business casual, but we did get casual Friday recently. Hooray!
ReplyDeleteYou look great! I love how the color of your shoes picks up the color in the necklace, and your bag is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThere is no official dress code where I work but since people are usually meeting with clients they are usually dressed up. I've worked places where anything goes as well.
ReplyDeleteOne of my friends has a job where if he wears a tie they ask where he had an interview that morning. He really just wants to dress up.
nice necklace bessie
ReplyDeleteLove this ideal business casual look of yours, Bessie! My sis-in-law lives in London, England, and she always tells me how prim and proper the Britishers are even when they are going for grocery shopping! I wish it was something close to that here in the US especially in areas where I live! I'm so tired of seeing women in shorts/Jeans and sweatshirts!
ReplyDeleteWait... so you got dressed and look THIS great and you didn't actually go to work in it? You just took photos?! Wow. Love your shoes, pants, jacket, jewelry, really everything about it!
ReplyDelete--TS

I love this outfit on you. Your red heels just the perfect pop. Love love love!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the color palette of this outfit! You look very professional while remaining very modern and trendy. The dress code at my office is rather casual too. Something like this would be considered too dressy too :)
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know if I ever get an office job.
ReplyDeleteI really like the necklace!
ReplyDeletei love this outfit best on you Bessie, I recently hit my 5YR too and it went from dress to very casual. I am definitely glad that we can wear jeans to work but i still like to dress professionally once in awhile.
