This is one of the most adventurous weeks we've ever had on Bravoe Runway! Fashion should always be fun and exciting! Never stop challenging yourself! Sure, we have our tried and true outfits that we know always "works." But sometimes, try to branch outside of your comfort zone! For me, this is a very different look. I don't have any florals in my closet, most likely because I've come across too many pieces that could either pass as wallpaper or drapery. Mixing 2 floral pieces is new me, and 6 months ago I wouldn't have had the guts to try it! I think my first attempt turned out way better than I ever imagined!
All signs of a potential wall covering.....diverted!
Branch out of your comfort zone and have fun!

again 'my' heels :D:D
ReplyDeleteyou look just stunning in that combo
I don't I would look not so good and classy wearing it
Yay - we finally get to see the skirt. It's beautiful I love how it's one pattern on the outside and has a sliver of another pattern on the inside - so unique. I love all the patterns you've combined in this outfit - normally it would be too flashy but it blends well here. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteDoes those Aldo boots really look like Prada? I had no idea - I got these years ago!

ReplyDeleteI love that skirt on you, Bessie!!!! It is so beautiful. I also really love the top you paired it with. It picks up the floral pattern on the front of the skirt perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a fabulous weekend! And very Happy Halloween just in case I don't get the chance to log on this weekend!

I am so scared to mix patterns. I think I am a bit conservative but your look is so classic, so I may just try it.
ReplyDeleteI love the red jacket, the romantic blouse, the red belt, the killer heels, the pink purse and the tweed. You just are the best at putting your outfits together :).
ReplyDeleteOooh I love that skirt!! It is so pretty :D

One thing my blog has taught me is to step out of my comfort zone and to have some fun! LOVE that you paired these two patterns together. It actually looks like a dress! BRAVO!
ReplyDeletewww.plentyforpennies.com
That blouse is killer! I'll have to check out Tod's, too.
ReplyDeleteI love all of these! I know a lot of people where I live who would be intensely jealous of your fashion sense and beauty.
ReplyDeleteWow you pulled off the mixing prints wonderfully! Yes thats right never stop challenging yourself. I sometimes get a little bit shy about this since my body type but for the most part I really dont care as long as I am comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI love your heels ! nice outfit too :)
ReplyDeletewww.coffeecreamandthecaffeine.blogspot.com
Love love this top!! B you've done it again!
ReplyDeleteYes that is a very daring combination! I love how you pulled it off. I still don't have the guts to try two floral pieces. Maybe one day...
ReplyDeleteLove the mixture of these patterns. One day I'll get brave enough to give it a whirl myself. Whenever I've tried to mix patterns in the past, I end up looking like a three-year-old dressed me. =)
ReplyDeleteGood match of patterns I also adore the shoes.

I still haven't worked up the courage to mix florals but you did it swimmingly. You definitely had a great set of outfits this week, I love looks 1 and 3 and today obviously. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt was a fun week! The floral is a little longer than I thought it would be when you showed pictures of it before. That's good since it's such a light fabric.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great week.
Love Love Love mixed prints! It can be sometimes tricky, but you pull it off!
ReplyDeletelove the outfit! your skirt is gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteLove your mixing of florals! They look great together. I love wearing things a little outside my comfort zone, especially when they turn out looking great!
ReplyDeleteBessie, I really love the mixing of both the florals in this outfit! I especially love the loose sleeves on that top! That is definitely something outside my safe/comfort zone, but I WANT to own a top like it!
